When a 1970s La Jolla cottage was ready for a modern transformation, sdPM was enlisted to bring the vision to life. The main challenge? The refrigerator was the first thing you saw upon entering the home, and the small kitchen left no room to relocate it. By collaborating with trusted subcontractors and reimagining the layout creatively, sdPM orchestrated an expanded kitchen design seamlessly integrated into a full interior and exterior remodel.

How we did it

sdPM proactively included the relocation of the stove's gas line and the installation of a new structural ceiling beam—necessary for the open floor plan—in the initial bid, even while the clients were still undecided.
